The Good Food Foundation awarded ImmuneSchein Turmeric Ginger Elixir with a Good Food Award for 2019, and we wanted to thank the Good Food Foundation, our team, customers, business partners and family for your support in helping make this possible.
The Good Food Award is an annual, national competition comprised of more than 2,000 entries from chefs, grocers, food purveyors, artisans, and makers from all over the United States.Out of the 2,035 entries, 220 winners were chosen from 16 different food categories (such as beer, chocolate, elixirs, etc.) during a blind taste test by 262 judges who have specialized expertise in each category.
The Good Food Award is more than just an award. It is a token of acknowledgement for social and environmental responsibility and integrity. It points to the greater social and environmental responsibility and justice that each company strives to maintain and uphold.
In an era of low-quality, "convenient" food, the Good Food Foundation makes sure that winners of the Good Food Award are businesses that adhere to exceptional quality and high standards in food-making, running a company, supporting and giving back to the community, and much more.
This award is as much for our company and Turmeric Ginger Elixir as it is for you—our loyal customers and partners! We are inspired by your support and love for our product, and we will continue to produce and serve the finest ginger elixirs—never sacrificing our product’s integrity for profit!
We would like to leave you with an inspiring quote from one of the founders of the Good Food Award, and we again thank you all.
“Through your very existence—by growing and thriving and continuing on through seasons of boom and bust—you show everyone that America’s appetite for truly good food is here to stay. At a time when the message of ‘us versus them’ grows louder, you quietly yet firmly send a different message about how this country works and what we value. Every day—through the choice to protect our land and waters, to pay fairly and transparently, to build community wellness alongside your businesses—you say, ‘All of us, or none of us.'”
