Corinna Geib
Corinna grew up in the countryside of southern Germany and was influenced early on by her grandfather—an herbalist, gardener, and lover of nature and the world. At 16 years old, she started a three-year apprenticeship at a small food store. In 1997, she opened a specialty food store, selling fresh produce, fish, and cheese.
In 2002, Corinna changed careers and went into the medical industry. For the following seven years, she worked closely with research and development departments, event management, and ultimately started traveling to the U.S. to set up workshops and events. During one of her trips in 2006, she met Jason and, after living in Germany for two and a half years together, she started a life in the U.S. in 2009.
Corinna always had a special interest in the health benefits of ginger, and for many years has used lemon, ginger, and honey to help with an upset stomach, colds, headaches, and just because it tastes great. She continued making elixirs until one day Jason said, “This is so amazing. Why don’t you create a business and share it with people?” Well, that was pretty much the start of the company in 2013, and she couldn’t be happier with what has grown into a healthy small business that currently employs seven people.
In her free time, she enjoys knitting, sewing, and making pottery. She loves playing tennis, going on hikes throughout the Hudson Valley with her two dogs in tow, and spending time with good friends and wine.
Corinna can be found at the ImmuneSchein Tea Haus in Saugerties, NY.
